Summer Crafting

Summer is one of my favorite times for crafting, especially since it rains so often in Florida it gives me the time inside the house to create new crafts.  This summer I'm wanting to try glass painting.  Just bought some Peebo paints and a vase; can't wait to start and see what develops!  I have painted glass ornanments before but this is more involved and requires more free-hand art work.  Anyone that knows me will tell you that I'm not good at drawing, and by no means an artist, but I love trying new things.  I've been real busy with my 2 year old son, so haven't had the time to dedicate to this quite yet.   The picture you see on my blog was my last project:  A candy bar cake, it was alot of fun and I really liked the way it turned out.   I ended up giving this away as a gift to my son's daycare provider and she really loved it.  I hope to share more pics with you and see what kinds of crafts you have been working on.  I also like sharing information on new products that I've tried and have been successful  since we are all watching our pennies right now.   So lets start sharing and let's get crafting!
